Lead - Residential Programs

The Lead is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the assigned residential program by modeling best practices, maintaining program standards, and assisting with compliance, training, and quality initiatives. This full-time position plays a key role in ensuring consistent, person-centered care and serves as a resource for other direct support professionals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support excellence in core areas including licensing, compliance, quality, training, and customer service. Provide guidance and mentorship to direct care staff. Assist with staff onboarding and ongoing training under the direction of program leadership. Build and maintain positive relationships with individuals, families, and other stakeholders. Ensure clean, safe, and respectful living conditions aligned with policies and licensing standards. Monitor individuals well-being and communicate concerns promptly. Implement support plans and behavior strategies effectively. Maintain accurate records and assist with incident documentation. Help maintain appropriate staffing ratios and support shift coverage. Track and manage personal funds/property in accordance with person-centered practices. 

Experience in direct support roles working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, brain injuries, or special needs is required. Prior experience in a leadership or mentoring role is preferred.

  • Successfully pass the ODDS approved criminal history and drug screen;
  • Possess current driver’s license, with acceptable driving record.
  • OIS oversight certification which includes administrative review of the use of physical intervention.
  • Maintain current certification in First Aid, CPR, and Bloodborne Pathogens;
