Float Residential Manager and Scheduler
Salem, OR
IS Living is seeking an experienced Residential Manager to support multiple residential homes serving individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). This role provides leadership coverage during manager vacancies, extended leave, and transitional periods to ensure stable, compliant, and person-centered services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide residential program management coverage across assigned homes
- Supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), Lead Staff, and support staff
- Ensure implementation of Individual Support Plans (ISPs), behavior plans, and nursing orders
- Maintain Oregon Administrative Rule (OAR) compliance and safe home environments
- Manage staff scheduling, callouts, and coverage for multiple homes
- Maintain master schedules and ensure required staffing ratios
- Monitor overtime and staffing needs while supporting operational stability
- Oversee incident reporting, documentation, and follow-up actions
- Support onboarding, coaching, and staff development when working in homes
Minimum Qualifications:
- Any combination of education and experience that leads to a solid foundation in education, special education, psychology, social services, nursing and/or sensorial therapies or related field;
- Knowledge of or experience with evaluation and program planning for adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities or brain injuries or other special needs;
- Proficient at Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Project, Visio, Email and Internet applications;
- Successfully pass the ODDS approved criminal history and pre-employment drug screen;
- Possess current driver’s license and meet organizational insurance eligibility requirements.
- OIS oversight certification which includes administrative review of the use of physical intervention.
- Maintain current certification in First Aid, CPR, and Bloodborne Pathogens;
- Maintain current licenses/certifications/insurance required for employment and position.
- Two years of direct care experience.
- One year of supervisory experience, preferred.
